About Figureground
Figureground is a small design studio and consultancy founded by Nick Zlonis in 1999. Since that time, Nick has developed innovative online solutions for clients including 3M, Thomson Reuters, the University of Minnesota, and Salon.com.
Nick’s work has been featured in design magazines such as IDANDA and Netdiver and books including Convergences: Message Method Medium by Robert Atwan. Nick received a Master's Degree in Communication Design/Digital Design from Pratt Institute in 2000.
